Interior design solutions at the Riga-based Akropole are to be developed by the international architecture firm, Benoy

Benoy, one of the world’s most famous retail architecture firms, will contribute to the development of Akropole in Riga, the most modern retail trade and leisure centre in the Baltics. The Benoy Studio in Europe has carried out a planned structure analysis of the shopping centre to be built in the Latvian capital and presented proposals on how the Riga-based Akropole can provide a myriad of experiences to its visitors and conform to the latest shopping centre trends on a global scale.

In the Riga-based Akropole, Benoy will offer an interior architecture scheme and retail planning design solutions; in addition minor updates to the existing project will be made to help with the overall commercial success Having implemented dozens of the world’s most famous trade and leisure centre projects, Benoy will also provide the Riga–based Akropole with exterior signage and wayfinding proposals and complete design guidelines for the Tenants.

Akropole, which is currently being built in Maskavas Street, Riga, will be the most modern and one of the largest trade and shopping centres in the Baltics. The centre with the total floor area of 98,000 sq.m. will house more than 200 stores, cafes and restaurants, ice arena, cinema, bowling club, and children’s play space.

The plans are that the construction works at Akropole will be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
